A coin launches. It's a new pump.fun coin named after your wallet's first three characters (like 7xK's Pair), paired to $PAIR.
The count goes up. Every pair coin trades in $PAIR, so buying any of them buys $PAIR first.
Counted on-chain the way pump.fun counts pairs: every coin launched on pump.fun or on Raydium LaunchLab (stonk.fun and others) with that coin as its pair. Coins paired to SOL, USDC or listed pair tokens are not part of the race.
